Denise works in these communities to help raise funds, invest in local agencies and help bring together people and resources from every sector to develop and deliver solutions that help children and families thrive. She recently joined the United Way of Greater Atlanta with over 20 years of experience and leadership in the area of nonprofit, private and public partnership development. Denise’s early career was at Bellsouth with management responsibilities in strategic planning, marketing research and new product development. After leaving BellSouth, she co-founded a consulting firm providing organization development services to nonprofits, foundations and public agencies. She helped clients to clarify organization direction and align their leadership and staff. Denise also evaluated many community programs, helping clients measure their progress, results and impact. She is a long-time volunteer in Gwinnett County leadership programs and health and human services. Denise is passionate about connecting people, resources and systems in ways that improve people’s lives, society and the world. She believes that relationships are the most important connections, and that with relationship as a foundation, we can accomplish great things to benefit others. She is available to help individuals and organizations to connect with and support United Way’s work in our community.
